Bio: Corey Mitchell, J.D., is a law school graduate and the author of the Los Angeles Times bestseller Dead and Buried, the true story of serial rapist turned serial killer Rex Krebs, the critically acclaimed Murdered Innocents, an account of 1991's Texas yogurt shop slayings, Evil Eyes, the story of America's most vicious serial killer, and the underground true crime classic, Hollywood Death Scenes.
Mitchell has appeared on numerous television programs including E! Television's recent hugely successful Hollywood's 20 Most Horrifying Murders.
Mitchell's next book, Strangler, is scheduled to be released internationally on August 7, 2007. He will introduce the book at the twenty-first annual Parents of Murdered Children conference in Houston, Texas on August 4, 2007, where he will be the Guest Speaker.
Mitchell is currently putting the final touches on his sixth book, Pure Murder, about the murders of teenagers Jennifer Ertman and Elizabeth Pena, which will be released by Kensington/Pinnacle in 2008.
Mitchell also moderates the True Crime group on MySpace and currently hosts his own blog of crime and mayhem at In Cold Blog.
Corey and his wife, Audra, live to serve their daughter, Emma, deep in the heart of Texas.
