Bio:
Ray has been sentenced to 160 years in Texas prison. While in prison he became a jailhouse lawyer and reformed his sentence to just eight years. As a Trustee, he completed his sentence in four years, four months and ten days.
Ray's accomplishments are far too many to list here, but it should be noted that among them are winning four Federal suits against the City of Houston, including a landmark First Amendment US Supreme Court Case: Houston v Hill 107 S.Ct 2502.
Ray was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from the ACLU, Texas in 2005.
