Bio: I grew up in Denver. Attended Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, and graduated from the University of Colorado law school in 1983. I served 4 years as an Air Force JAG, then did private practice in Omaha until 1995, during which time I successfully defended an accused ax murderer. I returned to Colorado in 1995 and now practice law in a small, mountain town that sits 8,236 feet above sea level. Nederland is most famous for its annual "Frozen Dead Guy" festival. I describe myself as a Unitarian redneck.
Possible topics: I can talk about my journey from self publishing to the big time. I can talk about how I write. I can talk about my mysteries. I can talk about my life as a trial attorney and some of the cases I have done. I am currently involved in a high profile case in which my client gained national attention because he sued Home Depot after being glued to a toilet seat in the local Home Depot.
Fees: Negotiable
